New York, Feb. 16, 2017 /3BL Media/ – Nanette Lockwood, global director, policy and advocacy, Center for Energy Efficiency and Sustainability at Ingersoll Rand, a world leader in creating comfortable, sustainable and efficient environments, will join other energy efficiency industry leaders at a national briefing on the 2017 edition of the Sustainable Energy in America Factbook. The event is scheduled for Feb.16 in New York.
The Sustainable Energy in America Factbook was launched on Feb. 8 in Washington, D.C. Lockwood will speak to the importance of clean energy and the escalating pace of the energy transition occurring economy-wide. She will also highlight how Ingersoll Rand and Trane, a leading global provider of indoor comfort solutions and services and a brand of Ingersoll Rand, are investing in the future of America’s energy infrastructure with innovative thermal energy storage solutions that significantly reduce utility bills by using chilled water systems to make and store ice at night that can efficiently, quietly and reliably cool buildings during the day. By shifting energy consumption to nighttime hours, utility costs can be dramatically reduced.
“The factbook is the go-to resource for policymakers and industry experts as they seek to learn valuable insights about the ways in which Americans produce and consume energy,” Lockwood said. “Ingersoll Rand provides some of the industry’s most reliable and energy-efficient heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems and links them with connected energy management solutions to maximize long-term reductions in energy consumption.”
For the fifth year in a row, Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) and the Business Council for Sustainable Energy (BCSE) have produced the Sustainable Energy in America Factbook, which provides the latest industry information and trends from the energy efficiency, natural gas and renewable energy sectors in the United States.
